Production and logistical activities undertaken by the group include purchasing of raw materials, co-ordination of formulation and packaging, repacking from bulk, as well as storage and transport.

The registration department based in Brussels coordinates and manages product registrations in partnership with suppliers and handles all EU registration centrally. The maintenance of existing registrations and the establishment of direct relationships with key registration officials are equally important. Each of the national Certis branches has the capability to register products on a local basis.

Certis conducts research and development across Europe on new products and product uses prior to market introduction. The company has the capability to conduct the field trials required to demonstrate efficacy for product registration at local and European level, as well as the ability to extend the use of existing products into new crop areas.
