Certis' Robert Lidstone

Crop protection firm Certis have recently stepped up their social media presence by joining online micro-blogging site Twitter.

Robert Lidstone, the firms’ marketing and business development manager says; “With research showing that many in the agricultural industry subscribe to Twitter, using it for professional purposes as well as social networking, it is important for companies such as ours to be part of this rapidly developing technology.

“The Certis Twitter account will provide news, technical updates, product developments and other seasonal sound bites,” he says. “It is simply yet another way that we are communicating with our customers, end users and the wider agricultural and horticultural industry.”

Mr Lidstone adds that; “we have always held communication with our stakeholders of paramount importance and now that we’re on Twitter, we look forward to being able to engage with our followers on an even more regular and instantaneous basis.”
