With extensive knowledge and nine years’ experience in the industry, Certis is pleased to announce a new arable product manager has joined their team.

Chris Charnock has joined the company seeking a new challenge within the arable industry. “I’ve previously worked in both technical and sales roles and saw this as a chance to utilise my knowledge and expertise, plus the opportunity to develop my product management skills further.”

“Certis is a specialist crop protection company who have recently made big investments into their arable portfolio, with several unique actives coming to the forefront. And, the opportunity to be part of this growing company, and be responsible for such a strategic part of the business is very appealing.”

“Over the next few years there will be challenges that our industry will come up against, from volatile commodity prices to potential product regulatory constraints. Despite this, the industry has a strong future ahead. People will always need feeding, crops will always need to be grown, and as a consequence pest and disease pressures will always be a problem.

“Certis, as a company are in a great position with access to new molecules, and unlike other companies, is very active in the area of biorationals which are likely to play an important part in the arable sector in the future.

“This is a very exciting time for Certis and it’s great to be part of a growing team, and part of a company with huge potential across the arable sector, as well as potatoes, fruit, veg and speciality crops,” says Mr Charnock.
